FRUIT WINES
We at Tomasello Winery are very serious about the production of our fruit wines. The six fruit wines in our portfolio are fermented in small lots under very cold conditions to maximize fruit character extraction. We select fruit from specific growers whose passion in fruit-growing matches our passion for wine making. You will find these wines to be intense in their fruit character with layers of fruit on the palette and yet balanced in their relative acidity and sweetness. They have remarkable diversity in their use as a wine to drink with specific foods and for use in recipes. We hope that you will find our fruit wines as exciting to drink as we find them to make.

Wine of the Month

	Tomasello Cherry Wine 500ml Made from 100% Cherries, this premium Cherry Wine has a pronounced Cherry character. Balanced with a bit of sweetness, this Cherry Wine is best appreciated with White Chocolate Cheesecake, as an aperitif or in a Cherry Brandy Kir with you favorite sparkling wine. Try our Cherry Wine in a Pan Seared Duck Breast with Cherry Wine Reduction or in a Cherry Wine Spritzer.

	Tomasello Blueberry 50% - Pomegranate 50% Made from a blend of 50% Tomasello blueberry wine and 50% Tomasello pomegranate wine, this fine wine is the perfect balance of the fruity fragrant character of fresh blueberries and the tangy character of pomegranates. Excellent as an aperitif, with your favorite bubbly as a kir, with cheesecake or in a blue-pom martini.

	Tomasello Blackberry Wine 500ml Made from 100% Marion Blackberries, Tomasello Blackberry Wine is a full-bodied blackberry wine with dominant cassis and brambleberry character. It is moderately sweet and can be served both as a dessert wine or in a dessert like English Triffle with Tomasello Blackberry Wine. In classical French cooking, Tomasello Blackberry Wine can be made into a sauce reduction. Try our Filet Mignon with Blackberry Wine Reduction.

	Tomasello Red Raspberry Wine 500ml Made from 100% Willamette raspberries. Intense raspberry flavor from start to finish. There is a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity. Tomasello Red Raspberry is the perfect compliment to chocolate and chocolate desserts. The acidity of the Red Raspberry cuts through the sweetness of the chocolate leaving your palette clean without being cloying. We suggest a rich Chocolate Paté.

	Tomasello Cranberry Wine 500ml Tomasello Cranberry Wine is a perfect balance of light sweetness and tart, refreshing cranberry. The color is an intense cranberry red and the aroma enticing, especially when served room temperature. This 100% natural cranberry wine complements an array of foods or can be served alone. Tomasello Cranberry Wine tastes great with a number of traditional foods with which you would typically serve cranberry products. Try our Tomasello Cranberry Wine with Turkey - you'll find that it is the perfect substitute for cranberry sauce. Or serve Tomasello Cranberry Wine chilled with Creamy Cheesecake. 	Tomasello Blueberry Wine 500ml For over a decade Tomasello Winery has been producing 100% pure blueberry wine from cultivated high bush blueberries grown on the Atlantic Blueberry Company farms. The wine is semi-dry with soft and perfumed hints of blueberry. Recent studies prove Blueberry wine to be very high in antioxidants. To add a distinctive character to your sparkling wine, try a Tomasello Blueberry Wine Kir Royale. Pour one ounce of chilled Tomasello Blueberry Wine into the bottom of your favorite champagne flute. Top with Tomasello Blanc de Blanc Brut or your favorite bubbly. Serve this as a delightful aperitif before dinner. To highlight your salad course, top baby mixed greens, with slivered almonds, dried blueberries and a Tomasello Blueberry Wine Vinaigrette.

	Tomasello Pomegranate Wine 500 ml Our newest fruit wine, just released this year. Made from 100% Pomegranate, this wine is a perfect combination of tangy pomegranate and balanced sweetness. The color is intense Pomegranate red and the wine has a pronounced fruity aroma. It is perfect with poultry, in a kir by adding your favorite Tomasello sparkling wine, or try a Tomasello Pomegranate Cosmopolitan or Pomegranate Martini.

	Sparkling Blueberry Our newest sparkling wine and already a huge hit. This methode champenoise sparkler is made using 100% Blueberry wine. Wonderful blueberry character, a lovely aperitif, and perfect accompaniment to a light dessert. Perfect with poultry entrees as well.

	Sparkling Pomegranate Wine Tomasello Pomegranate Sparkling Wine is made from 100% Pomegranate wine cuvee’ fermented into sparkling wine via the traditional method. It has wonderful hints of pomegranate and a dry finish and is a perfect partner to hor d’ oeuvres and cheeses.

	Cherry, Blueberry & Raspberry Forte: These three Fruit "Ports" are made by combining the respective base fruit wine with the corresponding fruit eau de vie. A kicked up version of the Tomasello Fruit wines. We produce the base wine for the eau de vie and send it along to a small Upstate NY distillery who makes our wines into single batch pot still eau de vie. They return it to us and we craft the appropriate blend of wine, eau de vie and residual sweetness. All are great with chocolate after dinner.
