"For years, Windows on the World sold more wine than any other restaurant in America. It had a spectacular list, with more than 1,500 selections, all of the "first growths" of Bordeaux, great Burgundies, stunning dessert wines, often at surprisingly reasonable prices. Its cellar held around 50,000 bottles. But that night, the wine they were most excited about was a Cabernet Sauvignon from Tomasello Winery in Atlantic County, New Jersey. We ordered it and it was delicious. We're so glad we kept the label, since it's the last we'll have from Windows on the World. Tomasello Winery's 1999 Cabernet Sauvignon is one classy wine - vibrant and earthy and friendly. It has special meaning to us since it was the last bottle of wine we drank at the famous Windows on the World (at the top of the Twin Towers )" -- Dorothy Gaiter & John Brecher, Wall Street Journal, September, 2001

"Most Exciting or Unusual Finds: Chambourcin 2001, Tomasello Winery: A velvet monster with Shiraz -like stewed blueberry and cranberry fruit, almost creamy on the palate." - - Sandra Silfven, Wine Report

"Buy Today, Drink Tonight." - Tomasello Villard Noir 1997

"Villard Noir, a red hybrid grape once widely planted in France, has long yielded attractive wines for buy-at-noon uncork-tonight drinking in the Northeast, especially in New York's Finger Lakes region. Tomasello's satisfying full-bodied and somewhat rustic version was born for pastas dusted with ground-at-home Parmesan cheese and for juicy grilled meats. This still-young Villard Noir comes across with the pillowy softness of merlot and bounce of Beaujolais made from ripe grapes. Unlike a Beaujolais, it wants to be quaffed slowly, not guzzled, the better to appreciate its plum and dark-berry flavors and the richness imparted by 10 months' sleep in American oak barrels. The lingering aftertaste adds a grace note." -- "Buy Today, Drink Tonight" by Howard G. Goldberg -- The New York Times

"New Jersey has come a long way, with more than a dozen wineries, one of the most serious being Tomasello Winery . . . the 1996 Atlantic County Chardonnay Oak Reserve is oaky indeed, in the manner of a Robert Mondavi chardonnay." -- "Taking Wine Seriously in Atlantic County " by Diane Nottle -- The New York Times

". . . Charles and Jack Tomasello are producing a great array of wines from the native concord as well as hybrids. Don't miss the Beaujolais-like Chambourcin and the noteworthy Cabernet Sauvignon." -- "The Atlantic Seaboard" by Marguerite Thomas -- The Wine News

Tomasello Chambourcin:
"It appears to be emerging as the Philadelphia area's most consistently superior red wine." -- Deborah Scoblionkov, wine columnist -- Philadelphia Inquirer

Tomasello Sparkling Rkatziteli:
"It offers a honey and yeast aroma and flavor, with a refreshing lemon-lime bite that quickens the appetite and leaves an endless aftertaste . . . for weekend brunches and picnics." -- Howard G. Goldberg, wine columnist -- New York Times

Tomasello Chardonnay:
"I have had several delightful Chardonnays from Tomasello Winery." -- Robert M. Parker, Jr. -- Parker's Wine Buyer's Guide

Wine of the Year:
